Surrounded by hieroglyphs, an ancient ball player demonstrates his skill and strength. The ball game represented the movements of the heavens for many pre-Hispanic peoples and, for the Maya, the game had a religious significance. Angel Cern recreates an archeological piece from Chinkultic, Chiapas. Once thought to be a calendar, as the glyphs represents dates, it is one of the first ball court markers discovered. Includes a pinewood stand.
